SIGCHI.be is proud to announce its first one-day conference, which will take place on Monday 19 October in De Montil in Affligem, West of Brussels.

We are currently setting up the teams of volunteers that will take part in the organisation of the conference.

We recruited volunteers at the last event in Louvain-La-Neuve and 16 people signed up. We still need a few more and were wondering if you would be interested to join our team of conference enthusiasts. It will not represent more than a few days of work (sometimes less) between now and mid October.

If you are interested, please send a mail to Joannes Vandermeulen (jv@namahn.com) at the latest on Monday 4 May.

A DVD with the live recording of Bill Verplank's talk at last year's SIGCHI.be event is available free of charge for all SIGCHI.be members. Just pick one up at the upcoming event at Université Catholique de Louvain.

We have a nice mix of presentations for you, from both sides of the language border, including an academic view on invisible interfaces from the LUCID lab of the Université de Liège, and a practitioner';s view on measuring KPIs in information architecture.
