After a successful inaugural event in October with nearly 50 attendees, SIGCHI.be continues apace with an evening of three lectures by Belgian speakers on a wide variety of HCI topics.
This next event takes place on Wednesday 20 December in the Namahn library in Brussels.

Because we believe in constant evaluation and improvement of SIGCHI.be we put together a short online survey.
Please spare 5 minutes to evaluate the kick-off event and give some suggestions for future happenings.

After months of preparation SIGCHI.be will officially kick off on Thursday 26 October in Leuven at the Mediacentrum K.U.Leuven, hosted by the Centre for Usability Research.

Note that this is a temporary solution. We will make new mailinglists (e.g. for members and non-members) after the first SIGCHI.BE event. At this moment there are no actual members yet, but that does not mean that there is no community. So mail away!

With this first post we would like to welcome you all to SIGCHI.BE, the Belgian chapter of ACM's special interest group for Computer Human Interaction. This initiative will be a platform where HCI practitioners from academia and industry meet to share knowledge and experiences.
