At this event we will conduct our first annual general meeting and hold elections for officers.
Of course, we also invited an interesting speaker, Steven Verhoest (www.vervorm.be) who will talk about his love for RIA (Rich Internet Applications).
Finally, we’ll do a variation on the successful 'Speed Dating' of our first event, called ‘Show and Tell’. Instead of just talking about yourself, you should bring something to talk about. This can be a prototype of a new product you’re working on but it might just as well be a slideshow, a book or a picture of your children. If you want to talk about it, bring it.

About our speaker
Steven
Verhoest graduated in 1990 as an industrial designer. He has always
been passionate about combining form and technology -- information
technology in particular.
He
was one of the early birds on the web in Belgium. He earned his stripes
at The Reference and e-Com, two Belgian internet pioneers. Steven’s
always made a specialty of ‘complex’ web sites, where large bodies of
corporate information have to be accessible with just a few clicks. Web
applications are another field of particular interest.
With his new company VERVORM (www.vervorm.be) Steven has launched himself as a freelance UI designer/developer who flies the flag for slogans like "Forms Follows Function" and "Don't Make Me Think".
